About Us

Setiquette Prep is a Latina and women-owned company based in Atlanta, GA.

We are building a community of KNOWLEDGEABLE, PROFESSIONAL, PREPARED and RESPONSIBLE makeup and SFX artists for working in the film and television industry here in Georgia and beyond.

Georgia has become a hotspot for film and television, so we want our artists to be ready. That way they don’t have to fly in people from New York or LA — we’re going to create a vast network of local talent, which also helps producers, studios and networks cut down on accommodations and travel costs.

We’ve already created a Facebook group community with over 800 members and growing daily — many of whom are non-union makeup artists, hair stylists and SFX artists, all eager and excited to contribute to our growing industry.

We DO NOT offer certificates because by and large there is no quantifiable value to them in the U.S. Completing our classes and courses will help you grow as an artist, but let’s be real — at the end of the day — it’s who you know in this industry and how you perform on set, that will get you jobs and continually called back and not about where you learned your skills.
